Prior to working with Zack I honestly didn’t know what a financial planning genius really looked like. Zack speaks a completely different language from me, his grasp of financial planning concepts and the ability to synthesize them with real life scenarios is incredible. Zack is both a certified financial planner and a CPA, so it’s an all in one offer for his clients, a value proposition I haven’t seen anywhere else before.
His ability and proficiency needed a site that was as professional and comprehensive as his offering. We went with an icy blue, mountain theme because of who Zack is and what the imagery represented. Zack lives in Colorado, so the mountains were a natural choice, beyond that the blues communicate trust and professionalism. The mountains always scream trust, stability, and there’s an implication of a journey. Zack sees planning as a long term relationship and his clients can see their engagement as a steady climb up a steep mountain, no particular step feels overly challenging, but when you get to the top, the view is amazing.
Zack is a straight shooter, and it was important to him to have maintained his dynamic pricing calculator transferred over from his last site, this was accomplished with a custom code block in Webflow. I restyled it to match the new vibe and it looks amazing. Website visitors can tell exactly what it would cost for them to work with Zack, which is exactly on brand for him.
Zack’s website was a balance between highly technical and illustrated because that is exactly who Zack is. He’s an extremely approachable guy with a great sense of humor, who is packing a V8 brain. I tried to communicate that through mountain imagery and a textured background to balance out the technical copy and comprehensive offering.
Working with Jacob was incredibly valuable. Whenever looking at paying for a product or service, the question is "Does the value exceed the cost?" and I can definitively say it has. The most impactful aspect for me was brain-dumping the vision for my financial planning practice, and he consolidated that vision into a Brand Positioning Sheet which has helped me in prospecting conversations and focusing my digital marketing efforts in a targeted and intentional way. He migrated my website to Webflow and it looks professional, curated, and aesthetically out of my league. He also took the time to train me on the primary functionalities of Webflow for blogging and has been highly responsive to my questions and always willing and eager to go above and beyond for me during our engagement together!
